It is given that ,

a = 2 , d = 3

we know that ,

an = a + ( n - 1 )d

a20 = 2 + ( 20 - 1 ) 3

= 2 + 19 × 3

= 2 + 57

= 59

an = a+d(n-1)

n is 20

a20 = 2 + 3(20-1)

a20 = 2+3(19)

a20 = 2+57

a20 = 59....
