Hence,\:3(x - 3) = 5(2x + 1) \\  \\  ∴ 3 x - 9 = 10x + 5 \\  \\  ∴3x - 10x - 9 = 5 \\  \\  ∴(  - 7x )= 5 + 9 \\  \\  ∴ ( - 7x) = 14 \\  \\  ∴x =  \frac{14}{ (- 7)}  \\  \\  ∴x = ( -  \frac{14}{7} ) \\  \\  ∴ \green{\boxed {x =  (- 2)}}
