(i) as to sides are equal it is an isosceles triangle

so base angles are equal

so x= y

If we consider x as a

then y = a

now,

70+a+a = 180°

70+2a= 180

2a= 110

a=55

means x=y= 55°

(i) 55°

(ii) as again the sides are equal base angels are equal

so y = 50°

now for x

x= y +50( by remote interior angle theorem )

so

x=100°

(iii) y = 30°

vertically opposite angles

iv) the angle whose name is not given in ∆ we will find that

by linear pair angle

angle +110=180

angle = 70°

y = 70° (again base angles)

now for x

x+y+ angle= 180

x+70+70= 180

x =40°
