Step-by-step explanation:

just solve like linear equations u get two values of x and y u get the answer perfectly OK friend .

10x+5y=105

3x+5y=49

7x,=56

x=8

24+5y=49

5y=25

Given:

2x+y=21

3x+5y=49

To find:

The solution of the given equations by the substitution method.

Solution:

1) In the substitution method, we express one variable in terms of other and then put it in other equation to find the value of variable.

2) 2x+y=21

y = 21-2x----------------(I)

Putting the value of y in other equation,

  • 3x+5y=49
  • 3x+5(21-2x) = 49
  • 3x + 105 -10x = 49
  • 7x = 56
  • x = 56/7
  • x = 8

Putting the value of x in equation (I)

  • y=21-2x
  • y= 21-2.8
  • y = 21-16
  • y = 5

The solution of the equation is (8,5).
