a. \: \: {(16)}^{2} - (14) {}^{2} \\ x {}^{2} - {y}^{2} = (x + y)(x - y) \\ = (16 + 14)(16 - 14) \\ = 30 \times 2 \\ = 60

b. \: \: (121) \times (255) \\ = 30855

\begin{lgathered}a. \: \: {(16)}^{2} - (14) {}^{2} \\ x {}^{2} - {y}^{2} = (x + y)(x - y) \\ = (16 + 14)(16 - 14) \\ = 30 \times 2 \\ = 60\end{lgathered}a.(16)2−(14)2x2−y2=(x+y)(x−y)=(16+14)(16−14)=30×2=60

\begin{lgathered}b. \: \: (121) \times (255) \\ = 30855\end{lgathered}b.(121)×(255)=30855
