We know that,

  • The force of attraction between any two objects is gravitational force and the formula for this force is;

= \huge{\boxed{\sf{F=G\dfrac{F_{1}.F_{2}}{{r}^{2}}}}}

And from the question we have,

  • Mass of objects = 2kg & 4kg
  • Distance = 2 m
  • Gravitational constant = 6.67 × 10-¹¹

Just put these all values in the above formula;

  • {\sf{F=G\dfrac{F_{1}.F_{2}}{{r}^{2}}}}
  • F = {\sf{\dfrac{ 6.67 × {10}^{-11} ×2 × 4}{{2}^{2}}}}
  • F = {\sf{\dfrac{ 6.67 × {10}^{-11} ×2 × 4}{4}}}
  • F = {\sf{ 13.34 × {10}^{-11} }}

Thus, the force acting between these two objects is 13.34 × 10-¹¹ N kg² m-², which as you can see is very very very small.
