vertically:- F=ma(Force =mass × acceleration), from this equation, we can easily find the acceleration by simply putting the given values.. solution:F=70×4.5 =>315 Newton..

(i) horizontally
F=m×a
F=70×4.5=315 N
(ii)vertically
F=m×a
F=(70×4.5)+(70×9.81)=1001.7 N
we need to work against the gravitational force!!
