There is no possible fraction that satisfies both of these cases.
1) Let the original fraction be x/y.
2) According to the first statement, when 2 is added to numerator, fraction becomes 12.
i.e (x+2)/y = 12 or x+2 = 12y
3) According to the first statement, when 1 is subtracted from denominator, fraction becomes 1.
i.e. x/(y-1) = 1 or x = y-1
4) Solving these two equations, gives x = -10/ 11 and y = 1/11
5) Since, both the x and y came out to be fractions, hence there is no possible fraction that satisfies these cases.
