Acceleration due to the gravity on Earth = 9.8 m/s².

We know that the acceleration due to the gravity on the moon is 1/6th that of the Earth.

∴ Acceleration due to the gravity on moon = 1/6 × 9.8 m/s².

= 1.63 m/s².

Hence, the acceleration due to the gravity on the moon is 1.63 m/s².
