x-3 is the answer by gcd lemm. or you can simply factorise the equations: x3 – x2 – 4x – 6 = (x – 3) (x2 + 2x + 2) and x2 – 2x – 3 = (x + 1) (x – 3) Hence GCD is (x – 3). Hope this helps!

Rickyharuto: x3 – x2 – 4x – 6 = (x – 3) (x2 + 2x + 2)
2. x2 – 2x – 3 = (x + 1) (x – 3)

Hence GCD of f (x) and g (x) is (x – 3)
