Given,

The point is on the X axis.

To find,

The general coordinate of the point.

Solution,

We know, that any point on the two dimensional graph has two types of numerical value,

1) Abscissa

2) Ordinate

Now,the abscissa denotes the negative or positive value of the (left or right) location according to the X axis and the ordinate denotes the negative or positive value

of (up and down) location according to the Y axis.

Here,the point is on the X axis itself. So,there will be zero value of location according to the Y axis. That's why,the ordinate will be zero in this case.

Let,the value of the abscissa = x

[ Assume, x as a variable.]

General coordinate = (x,0)

Hence,the general coordinate of the point on X axis is (x,0).
