Given :  -2y  = 6x  + 8

To Find : gradient and y intercept   after converting into y=mx+c form.

Solution:

-2y  = 6x  + 8

Divide both sides by  - 2

=>  y  = - 3x  -  4

y = mx + c

m = - 3  c  = 4

Gradient ( slope ) is m  = - 3

y intercept   c   =  4
