Answer:

y = 4x-5

y = 2x² - 3x - 1

differentiate with respect to 'x',

dy/dx = 4x-3

at x = 0,

m = dy/dx = 3

The tangent has the form,

y = mx+c

at (1,-2),

-2 = 3(1)+c

c = -5

Gradient of the tangent,

y = 4x-5
