To Find:-

  • Find the great number of five digits which on dividing by the numbers given.
  • Remainder:- 3

Solution:-

  • LCM of 8, 16, 24, 36, 48 = 144

  • Greatest 5 digit number = 99999

 \large\implies \mathtt{ \frac{99999}{144} = 63}

  • So to get greatest numbe which is divisible 99999 - 63 = 99936

  • Now we need the number which leaves 3 as reminder so,
  •  \implies \mathtt{99936 + 3 = 99939}
