LCM of 9, 12, 15, 18 and 24 by division method is 360. Largest number of five digits = 99999.
The quotient when 99999 is divided by360 is 277 and the remainder is 279. ∴ Greatest number of five digits divisible by 9, 12, 15, 18 and 24 =99999 - 279 = 99720.

Greatest 5 Digit Number = 99999.

Now, 99999/360 = 277.7

So, the greatest five digit number that is exactly divisible by 9, 12, 15, 18, 24
= 360×277
= 99720
