find the greatest number of 5 digits, when divided by 8and 9

LCM of 8 and 9 = 72.

Greatest five digit no. is 99999.

The greatest no. of five digits when divided by 8 and 9 = 99999/72.

After dividing Quotient = 1388 and Remainder = 63,

Now, subtract 63 from 99999 = 99963.

So, ans. is 99936.
