we have to find the greatest number of 6 digit which is a perfect square find the square root of this number ?

greatest 6 digit number = 999999

=> who have to do long division method for 999999

we get the quitting and 99.99 (long division) it is not a perfect square

=> x^2 < 999,999

So, x is a number whose square is the next least square before 999999

So, let form an equation :-

=> (1000 - 1)^2 = 999^2

=> 999 × 999 = 998001

Hope it helps
