Answer:

zeroes are 6, 2

Step-by-step explanation:

let zeroes be α and β

According to question:

α+β=8

⇒ α = (8-β)

And,

α×β=12

Substituting value of α we get

(8-β)×β=12

8β - β²=12

β²-8β+12=0

⇒ β²-6β-2β+12=0

⇒ β (β-6) -2 (β-6)=0

⇒ (β-2)(β-6)=0

∴β= 2, 6

∴α= (8-2) , (8-2) = 6, 2

∴when α=6, β=2 and when α=2, β=6
