H.C.F of (x2−3x+2) and (x2−4x+3);
Here to find the H.C.F. , we will use the method of factorisation as;
x2−3x+2 = x2−2x−x+2 = x(x−2)−1(x−2) = (x−1)(x−2)x2−4x+3= x2−3x−x+3 = x(x−3)−1(x−3) = (x−1)(x−3)
Now taking out the common term from the above factorisation we get H.C.F as;
= (x−1)
Therefore the H.C.F of (x3−3x+2) and (x2−4x+3) = (x−1)
