HCF (10,000, 100,000)=10,000

Step-by-step explanation:

To find : The HCF (10,000, 100000) using Euclid's division method ?

Solution :

The Euclid's division method is represented as,

\text{Dividend}=\text{Divisor}\times \text{Quotient}+\text{Remainder}

or a=b\times q+r

When the remainder is zero the HCF is b.

Here, a=100000 and b=10000

Multiply b by 10 gives you a and remainder became zero.

i.e. 100000=10000\times 10+0

The HCF (10,000, 100,000)=10,000
