find the HCF and LCM of 510 and 102 and verify that HCF ×LCM =Products of two given numbers.​

First taking out HCF of both numbers :-

HCF of 510 ----------

Factors of 510 = 2 × 3 × 5 × 17

HCF of 102 ----------

Factors of 102 = 2 × 3 × 17

So ,

Factors of 510 => 2 × 3 × 5 × 17

Factors of 102 => 2 × 3 × 17

Common => 2 × 3 × 17 = ? ( HCF )

= 6 × 17

= 102 ( HCF )

Now , Find the LCM of both numbers :-

LCM of 510 -------

Factors of 510 = 2 × 3 × 5 × 17

LCM of 102 --------

Factors of 102 = 2 × 3 × 17

So ,

Factors of 510 => 2 × 3 × 5 × 17

Factors of 102 => 2 × 3 × 17

Common = 2 × 3 × 17 × 5

= 6 × 17 × 5

= 102 × 5

= 510 ( LCM )

Verification :-

Put all the values which are given ----

HCF × LCM = Product of two numbers

102 × 510 = 102 × 510
