Step-by-step explanation:

HCF and LCM of 6, 72, 120 using prime factorization is as follows:

6= 2 × 3

72 = 2 × 2 ×2 × 3 × 3

120= 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 ×5

HCF  is  2 × 3 = 6

LCM is 2 × 3 ×2 ×2 ×2 ×2 × 3 × 5 = 1440

HCF is known as highest common factor.

In the above sum the highest common factor are 2 and 3 that is 2×3 =6

Similarly LCM is the lowest common factor. In the above sum 2 and 3 are common in all the three numbers so we take it once and the rest numbers are written to get the LCM.

Product of three numbers is 6×7×120 = 5040.

Product of HCF and LCM is 6×1440 = 8640

Hence the product of the numbers are not equal to the product of HCF and LCM.

Hope this helps.
