Find the hcf of 132 ,204 and 228? What is the answer?

132 = 2 * 2 * 3 * 11
204 = 2 * 2 * 3 * 17
228 = 2 * 2 * 3 * 19
So, HCF(132, 204, 228) = 2 * 2 * 3
                                       = 12 (Ans.)

228 = 204 × 1 + 24

204 = 24 × 8 + 12

24 = 12 × 2 + 0

Therefore , HCF 228 , 204 = 12

Now,

132 = 12 × 11 + 0

Therefore,

HCF 228 , 204 & 132 = 12..........ANS
