Two odd numbers ,first of all, cannot be consecutive. In between every two odd numbers there comes an even number.

So, any two consecutive odd numbers can be anything.

For example:-

9,11

So, there HCF will be,

9=3×3×1

11= 11×1

HCF(9,11) = 1

Similarly all the consecutive odd numbers have 1 as their HCF.

Answer: 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Highest common factor HCF of two consecutive odd numbers is always one 1.

Let suppose two consecutive odd numbers e.g. 15 and 17

15=1×3×5

17=1×17

Between their factors 1 is common so their highest common factor HCF is 1.

Let suppose another consecutive odd numbers e.g. 199 and 201

199=1×199

201=1×3×67

Hence their HCF is also 1.

Hope it will help you
