Hello dear friend
Answer is here ..

==============================

Sol.

Step -1. since 144 > 80 , we apply the division lemma to 144 and 80 , to get

=>144 = 80 × 1 + 64

Step -2. since 64 ≠ 0.
we apply the division lemma to 80 and 64 to get.

=> 80 = 64 × 1 + 16

step -3. since 16 ≠ 0. we apply the division lemma to 64 and 16 to get ,

= > 64 = 16 × 4 + 0

The remainder has become zero , so our procedure stops. since the Divisor at this step is 16.
The HCF of 80 and 144 is 16

Hope it's helps you.
