step -3. since 16 ≠ 0. we apply the division lemma to 64 and 16 to get ,
= > 64 = 16 × 4 + 0
The remainder has become zero , so our procedure stops. since the Divisor at this step is 16.
The HCF of 80 and 144 is 16
