To Find :
The Highest Common Factor of 96 and 404 by Prime Factorization Method and then their Least Common Multiple.
We know ,
96 = 2² × 3
404 = 2² × 101
So the required Highest Common Factor is 4 .
Then ,
We know very well that
LCM × HCF = 96 × 404
LCM= (96×404)÷4
LCM = 9696
The required HCF is 4 while the required LCM is 9696.
