hii here's ur solution is

1. HCF of 96 and 72:-

let, a=96 ,b=72

by Euclid's division lemma,
a=bq + r

96=72×1+24

72=24×3+0

hence HCF = 24

2. HCF of 300 and 550 :-

let a=550 ,b =300

by Euclid's division lemma,
a =bq + r

550= 300 ×1 +250

300= 250×1 + 50

250= 50 ×5 +0
hence HCF = 50.

hope it helps!!
