 \huge \bold \color{green}{ \underline{ \underline \red{required \: answer : }}}

given :-

I = 0.5A

R = 200ohm

time = 5min =5×60 = 300seconds

now we need to find heat produced in coil..

 \bold { \underline{ \underline{concept}}}

using joule's law of heating..

according to joule's law of heating given by the formula H = I²Rt

it is clear that..heat produced in a conductor is directly proportional to :-

i) square of current (I)

ii) resistance of conductor (R)

iii) time(t) for which current is passed

now come to our question

so by using formula H = I²Rt

h =  {(0.5)}^{2}  \times 200 \times 300 \\  \implies \: h = 0.25 \times 60000 \\  \implies \: h = 15000

hence, heat producing in the coil is 15,000 joule
