hello friends ,

base area ( rectangle ) = length * breadth

            180 cm^2 = length * breadth ------------(i)

now volume of cuboid = length * breadth * height

 900 cm^3 = ( 180 cm^2) * height { from (i)}

now, height = 900 / 180 cm = 5 cm

Question :-

Find the height of a cuboid whose base area is 180 {cm}^{2} and volume is 900 {cm}^{3} ?

Given :-

  • Base area = 180{cm}^{2}

  • volume = 900{cm}^{3}

To find :-

  • Height of cuboid ?¿

Solution :-

Area of base

= lb

= 180 {cm}^{2}

_________

Volume of the cuboid

V = 900{cm}^{3}

V = l × b × h

900 = 180 × h

h = 5 cm

Hence, the required height = 5 cm
