GIVEN THAT

VOLUME OF CUBOID =
1680 {cm}^{3}


AND BASE OF CUBOID =

240 {cm}^{2}


SO NOW WE KNOW THE FORMULA FOR FINDING VOLUME OF A CUBOID .

THAT IS

length \:  \times breadt \:  \times height \: (lbh)

BUT WE ALSO KNOW THAT BASE OF CUBOID IS EQUAL TO

length \times breadth
THERE FOR WE CAN WRITE THE VOLUME FORMULA AS

(base) \times height \:  =  \: volume
NOW PUTTING THE VALUES OF BASE AND VOLUME IN THIS FORMULA.

THEREFORE WE HAVE

240 {cm}^{2} \times height = 1680 {cm}^{3}
THEREFORE WE HAVE

height \:  =  \:  \frac{ 1680 {cm}^{3} }{240 {cm}^{2}  }
BY THIS WE HAVE

height = 7cm
