answer 11 cm

explanation.

volume of cuboid = l * b* h = 275 cm3

area of base = l*b = 25cm2

so 25 * h = 275

h = 275/25

= 11

so height of cuboid = 11 cm

The height of the cuboid = 11 cm

Given :

  • The volume of the cuboid is 275 cm³

  • The base area is 25 cm²

To find :

The height of the cuboid

Concept :

Volume of the cuboid = Height × Base Area

Solution :

Step 1 of 2 :

Write down volume and base area of the cuboid

The volume of the cuboid is 275 cm³

The base area is 25 cm²

Step 2 of 2 :

Find height of the cuboid

We know that

Height × Base Area = Volume of the cuboid

∴ Height of the cuboid

\displaystyle \sf{  =  \frac{Volume \:  of  \: the  \: cuboid }{Base \:  Area}  }

\displaystyle \sf{  =  \frac{275}{25}  \:  \: cm }

\displaystyle \sf{  =  11  \:  \: cm }
