Volume of Cube = Length × Breadth × Height

⇒ Volume of Cube = Base Area × Height

⇒ Volume of Cube = 36 cm² × Height

⇒ 324 cm³ = 36 cm² × Height

⇒ 324 cm³/36 cm² =  Height

⇒ 9 cm =  Height

∴ Height = 9 cm
