Area of a trapezium =  1/2 * height * sum of parallel sides

Let the Height of the trapezium be h .

Substituting the values given, in this equation

156 cm² = 1/2 * h * 36 ;

So, 156 = 36/2 * h = 18 * h

So, h = 156/18 = 52/6 = 26/3 = 8.666 cm

= Appx. 8.7 cm

Hope it helps!
