Given:-

  • Sum of the Length of Bases = 60cm

  • Area of Trapezium = 600cm

To Find:-

  • Height of trapezium.

Formulae used:-

  • Area of trapezium = ½ × Sum of Parallel Sides × Height

Now,

→ Area of trapezium = ½ × Sum of Parallel Sides × Height

→ 600 = ½ × 60 × h

→ 600 × 2 = 60h

→ 1200 = 60h

→ h = 1200/60

→ h = 20cm

Hence, The Height of trapezium is 20cm

PROPERTIES OF TRAPEZIUM:-

  • In a trapezium only one opposite sides are equal and Parallel.

  • Sum of two adjacent sides is 180°.

GiveN :

  • Area = 600 cm²
  • Sum of Parallel Sides = 60 cm

To FinD :

  • Height

SolutioN :

Use Formula for Area of Trapezium :

⇒Area = ½ * Sum of Parallel Sides * Height

⇒600 = ½ * 60 * Height

⇒600 = 30 * Height

⇒Height = 600/30

⇒Height = 20 cm

\therefore Height of Trapezium is 20 cm.
