Question:-

find the height of a trapezium,the sum of the of the lengths of whose bases is 80cm and area is

400 {cm}^{2}

Given:-

the Area of trapezium = \sf\fbox{400cm}

Sum of parallel sides = \sf\fbox{80cm}

Find out:-

height of trapezium side is = ?

Used:-

Trapezium =  \frac{1}{2}  \times sun \: of \: parallel \times height

Solution:-

\begin{gathered} :\implies\sf{400 = \frac{1}{2} \times 80 \times height} \\ \\ :\implies\sf{400 = 1 \times 40 \times height} \\ \\ :\implies\sf{400 = 40 \times height} \\ \\ :\implies\sf{height =\dfrac{\cancel{400}}{\cancel{40}}} \\ \\ :\implies{\underline{\boxed{\bf{height = 10}}}}\end{gathered}

the answer is 10.

Thanks
