Answer:

Given

Height of a trapezium =?

Area of trapezium =1080cm²

Area of trapezium =A=(a+b/2)h

Length of the parallel sides =55.6cm and 34.4cm

1080=(55.6+34.4/2)h

1080=(90/2)h

1080=45h

1080/45=h

h=24

The height of the trapezium is 24cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Area=

 \frac{1}{2}  \times (sum \: of \: parallel \: side) \times distance \: between \: them \\  1080 =  \frac{1}{2} (55.6 + 34.4)h\\ 1080 =  (\frac{90}{2} )h  \:   \\ 1080 = 45h \\ h =  \frac{1080}{45}   \\ h = 24cm \:  \\ the \: height \: of \: the \: trapezium \: is \: 24cm
