Answer: let us consider height of tree x

In ABC

tan60 = AB/BC

√3 = x/y

y√3= x ---------- I

In ABD

tan 30 = AB/BD

1/√3= x/20 + y

1/√3= y√3/20+y [ by eq---- I]

20+y= y√3*√3

20+y = 3y

20= 3y-y

20= 2y

20/2=y

y=10m

PUT VALUE OF Y IN EQ--------------I

x=y√3

x= 10√3 m

Height of tree is 10√3 m....
