Find the height of a triangle having an area of 175 cm2 and base 25 cm.

We know that ,

Area of triangle = 1/2 x base x height = 175 cm²

⇒ 1/2 x 25 x h = 175

∴ h = 175/25 x 2= 7 x 2= 14 cm

area of a triangle=1/2×base×height
175 =1/2×25×h
175×2÷25=h
7×2=h
14=h
