find the height of a triangle having an area of 72 cm sq and base 16 cm


sneha1941: First draw a perpendicular to base of triangle. Then, by formula of area of triangle you may solve just by putting the values in it. And then you will get the height of triangle.

area=1/2×b×h
1/2×16×h=72
h=72×2/16
h=9cm

Hey!
Area of triangle =1/2 *b*h
=)72cm^2=1/2*16*h
=)72cm^2=8*h
=)h=72/8=9cm
so, height is 9cm.
