find the height of a triangle having base 16 cm and area 72 cm square

1/2*base*height =area so 1/2*16*x=72 or 8x= 72 or x=9 answer is 9 cm

AREA=1/2*BASE*HEIGHT
72=1/2*16*HEIGHT
72=8*HEIGHT
72/8=HEIGHT
HEIGHT=9cm
