find the height of a triangle if its area is 360 CM square and base is 18 cm

We know that,

                  Area of Triangle = Base*Height/2

so,    360 = 18*height/2
         so, height = 720/18 = 40 cm

area of triangle = 1/2 base * height
Given area = 360 cm square
so
360 = 1/2 * 18 * h
or
h = 360 / 9
h = 40 cm..
