Find the height of an equilateral triangle having side of 2a.

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER :-

Using Pythagoras theorem

H² = P² + B²

(2a)² = P² + a²

4a² = P² +a²

P² = 3a²

P = √3a

so , height is √3a

area of equilateral triangle = √3/4×a^2
= 1.732 a ^2
area of triangle =1/2 ×b×h = 1.732
1/2×2a ×h = 1.732
h= 1.732a

second method
hieght = √h^2+ b^2 (by the formula of phtygores)
= root 2a +a
= root 3a
= 1.732 a
