Using formula

Area of Equilateral triangle = 3/4 side ²

 =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} (2a) {}^{2}

 =  \frac{ \sqrt{3}  \times 4a {}^{2}  }{4}

 =   \sqrt{3a {}^{2} }

Area = √3a²

AD = height

We know that,

Area = 1/2 × b× h

√3a²= 1/2 × 2a ×h

√3a²= a × h

√3a²/a= h

√3a = h
