(slant height )^2 =( 34)^2 - (16)^2
= 50 × 2
= 100
slant height = 10 cm
= 50 × 2
= 100
slant height = 10 cm

Hey Friend ☺
Given
slant height of cone = 34 cm
Base radius = 16 cm
To Find
Height of the cone = ?
Solution
Let the height of the cone be x cm
We know that
( slant height )^2 = ( radius )^2 + ( height )^2
( 34 )^2 = ( 16 )^2 + x^2
x^2 = 34^2 - 16^2
x^2 = 1156 - 256
x^2 = 900
Taking square root of bothe the side we get
x = 30 cm ..
so the height of the cone is 30 cm
