Let the height be h metre.

Radius = \frac{Diameter}{2} \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = \frac{140 \: \: cm}{2} \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = 70 \: \: cm \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = \frac{70}{100} m \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = 0.7 \: \: m

Volume \: \: of \: \: the \: \: cylinder = 1.54

 = > \pi {r}^{2} h = 1.54

 = > \frac{22}{7} \times 0.7 \times 0.7 \times h = 1.54 \\ \\ = > 1.54 \: h = 1.54 \\ \\ = > h = \frac{1.54}{1.54} \\ \\ = > h = 1

Hence the height is 1 metre.
