Given:

  • Volume of the cylinder = 1.54 m
  • Diameter of the cylinder = 140 cm

To Find:

The height of the cylinder.

Solution:

As per the given information,

Volume of the cylinder = 1.54 \: cm^{2} and Diameter of the cylinder = 140 cm

Finding radius,

∴ Radius = \frac{d}{2}= \frac{140}{2}}

\implies 70 \: cm

Now, finding the volume of the cylinder,

Volume of a cylinder = \pi r^{2} \: h

:\implies 1.54 = \frac{22}{7} \times 0.7 \times h

Value of h,

H = \frac{(1.54 \times 7)}{(22 \times 0.7 \times 0.7)}

Height :\implies \boxed{1 \: m}

Hence, the height of the cylinder is 1 m.
