volume =area of base*height
=pi(r sq) *h
volume and radius are given... u can find out height

We know that the V of a Cylinder is 3.14xr^2xh

where r stands for radius and h for the height of the cylinder.

given, the quantities in the question are the volume and the diameter of the base.

we can easily find out the radius by the given diameter, r=d/2=140/2=70cm

But before we put this value in the formula of v=3.14xr^2xh we need to convert radius from cm to m since the value for volume is given in S.I in the question.
After that just divide volume by 3.14xr^2 and that will be the height of the cylinder.
