Area of parallelogram = base x height

Base = 12m

Area = 96 m square

Let,

Height = a

Area = base x height

Put values.

96 = 12 x a

96/12 = a

8 = a.

Therefore, a = height = 8m.

Proof:–

Area = base x height

Put values.

96 = 12 x 8

96 = 96

L.H.S. = R.H.S.
