Area of trapezium is given by:
½(sum of the two parallel sides)x height

so,
½x 50 x h = 500
h= 20 cm

Hey Bro.

This is your answer ....


Sum of parallel sides = 50 cm.
Given Area = 500 cm². 
Here, h = height , a and b are two parallel sides.
Also, area of trapezium =  \frac{1}{2} X h X (a+b)
500 =  \frac{1}{2} hX(a+b) \\  \\ 500=  \frac{1}{2}hX50 \\  \\  \frac{500}{50}=  \frac{1}{2} h \\  \\ h= 20
Hence height of trapezium is 20 cm.
