Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,The two parallel sides of a trapezium = a and b = 4 cm and 12 cm

The height of the trapezium = h (say)

Area of the trapezium = 360 cm ^2

Area of the trapezium

A ⇒ 1/2 × (a + b ) × h

360 = 1/2 × (4 +12) × h

2 × 360 = 16 × h (∵1/2 is transform on the left side)

720 = 16 × h

720 / 16 = h (∵ 16 is transform on left side )

h = 720 / 16

h = 45 cm

∴ The height of the trapezium = h = 45 cm.
